Port Angeles is the gateway for Hurricane Ridge and the main visitor center, 5–15 minutes from the north entrance. Sequim is east and drier — a better base if you're splitting the trip with the Dungeness Spit or want a quieter overnight. Forks and the west side serve the Hoh Rain Forest and the Pacific coast.
