Camping in Zion

Three campgrounds sit inside the park — Watchman, South, and Lava Point — and all of them reserve through Recreation.gov. Book the moment your window opens in spring and fall: Watchman and South fill within minutes, and there is no walk-up backup once they are full. Lava Point is small, primitive, and up on the high plateau, so it opens later and stays cooler in summer.
